Group of Tourists, Including 11 Children, Missing During Rafting in Russia
A group of 22 tourists, including 11 children, has gone missing while rafting on the Uva River in the Perm region of Russia, according to the regional department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
The tourists set out on their rafting trip on July 4 and were expected to reach the village of Uva by July 9 but have since lost contact.
As reported by local media, citing the regional Ministry of Territorial Security, the tourist group was not registered.
Search and rescue operations are currently underway.
