Toivo Klaar Discusses 'Real Dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert'
The Special Representative of the European Union for crisis issues in the South Caucasus and Georgia, Toivo Klaar, has spoken about the 'real dialogue between Baku and Stepanakert'. Below is his statement:
'The real dialogue between Baku and Khankendi/Stepanakert should begin as an alternative to violence, to build necessary trust and ensure dignity. The European Union is looking forward to the trilateral meeting with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Brussels.'
He also addressed the cessation of gas supply to Artsakh by Azerbaijan: 'The day that started with a promise again ended in disappointment. As the European Union has repeatedly stated, it is crucial that the supply of energy resources, as well as the movement of people and goods through the Lachin corridor, be restored without restrictions.'
