Zahharova Responds to Kyiv's Statement on Striking the Crimean Bridge

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has commented on the statements made by Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar regarding the strike on the Crimean Bridge. She labeled the Kyiv regime as terrorist and urged NATO to pay attention to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

"Now they have embarked on their own 'salvation' by causing damage to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant," Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel. She added that NATO countries should address this matter at the upcoming summit in Vilnius.

"The overwhelming majority of the alliance's members will find themselves in a zone of outright defeat," concluded the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Malyar stated on her Telegram channel that they were responsible for the strike on the Crimean Bridge. It is important to recall that the explosion on the Crimean Bridge occurred early in the morning on October 8, 2022. Two sections of the bridge had partially collapsed. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist act.
