VIDEO: Residents of Turkey's Black Sea Regions Warned About Possible Disasters After Floods
The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority has declared an orange alert, the second-highest level of danger, for 15 districts along the Black Sea coast that have been flooded due to heavy rainfall. This was reported by TACC agency.
The warning about the likelihood of natural disasters and damage to residential areas is valid until July 11. Data regarding the aftermath of the rainfall is being updated. There are reports of casualties, as noted by A Haber television channel.
According to TRT television, the rainfall that struck Turkey's Black Sea region over the weekend has led to riverbank overflow in provinces including Düzce, Bartın, Giresun, Zonguldak, Ordu, Sakarya, and Samsun.
