Stoltenberg has stated that NATO members will adopt a unified position on Ukraine at the summit. The Secretary General is confident that the alliance's members will find a formulation that works for everyone regarding NATO's prospects for Ukrainian membership.
It is worth noting that The Daily Telegraph, citing an anonymous source within NATO, reported that Germany would advocate for the postponement of Ukraine's membership at the Vilnius summit, scheduled for July 11-12, due to concerns that immediate membership could lead to increased conflict with Russia.
