Germany Seeks to Delay Ukraine's NATO Membership
At the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius, Germany will insist on delaying Ukraine's membership in NATO, urging allies to focus on its security guarantees. This is reported by The Telegraph, citing its sources.
Meanwhile, the German government’s budget committee approved the procurement of new ammunition both for its own military needs and for further military assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces.
It is planned to ensure the Bundeswehr’s own needs while also providing additional support to Ukraine and replenishing munitions stocks that have already been transferred to it, stated the German Ministry of Defense.
