Kidnapped Armenian Soldiers Sentenced to 11 Years and 6 Months in Azerbaijan
The Sumgayit court has presented two Armenian soldiers abducted from Armenia as saboteurs and sentenced them to 11.5 years of imprisonment. This information has been reported by Azerbaijani media.
Earlier, it was noted that the Sumgayit Serious Crimes Court was demanding a 12-year prison sentence for the kidnapped Armenian soldiers, Harutyun Hovagimyan and Karen Ghazaryan.
It is worth recalling that on May 26, the connection was lost with two Armenian soldiers supplying food to combat positions. Later, the Investigative Committee informed that, according to preliminary data, an armed group from Azerbaijan crossed the border and abducted the Armenian soldiers.
