Court Hearing on Armenian Prisoners of War in Azerbaijan Postponed
The trial of abducted Armenian servicemen has been postponed at the Sumgait Court of Serious Crimes. The next hearing in the cases of Harutyun Yuriki Hovakimyan and Karen Ashoti Ghazarian is scheduled for July 5, according to Azerbaijani media.
It is worth noting that the servicemen are accused of allegedly crossing the state border of Azerbaijan. On May 26, contact was lost with two Armenian servicemen delivering food supplies to combat positions. Later, the Investigative Committee reported that preliminary data indicated an armed group from Azerbaijan crossed the border and abducted the Armenian servicemen.
