Now We Must Stop: Lukashenko on the Russian-Ukrainian Conflict
Now we must stop and sit down at the negotiating table without preconditions. This was stated by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko during a meeting with representatives of foreign and Belarusian media.
“We must decide everything at the negotiating table,” Lukashenko said, adding that the peaceful resolution in Ukraine should not depend on Washington. “This is a matter for Russia and Belarus,” he noted.
According to Lukashenko, discussions about peace with Ukraine are only possible now, as it will not occur after his counteroffensive. It is also worth mentioning that Lukashenko noted during the same meeting that Zelensky had agreed with the West to “fight until the last Ukrainian” even before the special operation began.
