Turkey Condemns Israel's Attack on Palestine's Jenin City
Turkey has condemned Israel's attack on Palestine's Jenin city, adding that it is "deeply concerned" about the tension in the region. This is reported by Al Jazeera, citing a statement from Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We reiterate our call to the Israeli authorities to act with reason and to put an end to such actions," the Turkish Foreign Ministry's statement said.
The news outlet also reports that Israeli forces have used tear gas towards a state hospital where hundreds of children and elderly people have sought refuge and are receiving treatment.
It is noted that since July 3, the Israeli Defense Forces have been conducting attacks on camps in Jenin. As of now, it is known that ten Palestinians have died in Jenin. There are 100 injured, with 20 in extremely critical condition.
