Armenia Ready to Open 3 Checkpoints at Border with Azerbaijan, Says Pashinyan
Armenia will never accept Azerbaijan's demands to open an extraterritorial corridor through its territory. This was stated today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.
“Regarding the unblocking of regional communications under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the countries, we have repeatedly declared and continue to declare that we are ready for that. For a long time, there has been a draft decision from the Armenian government that proposes the establishment of three control checkpoints along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. This decision has not been adopted due to Azerbaijan's destructive approach, which has not even provided for a similar process and does not want to grant a route to Armenia,” he emphasized.
