Information Leak About Zelensky's Visit to Bulgaria
The Bulgarian Minister of Defense, Todor Tagarev, has stated that he "regrets" the leak of information regarding Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's planned arrival in Sofia on July 6. This was reported by Gazeta.ru, referencing Politico.
The visit was originally kept secret for "security reasons"; however, diplomatic sources disclosed details about the plans to a Bulgarian publication the day before. Tagarev confirmed Zelensky's visit to Bulgaria and apologized.
“We have been preparing for such a visit for a long time, and it was not meant to be public. I regret that the information has spread among the public,” Tagarev said.
