Zahharova Calls on Azerbaijan to Unblock the Lachin Corridor
Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, expressed serious concern during a recent press conference regarding violations of the ceasefire and the blockade of the Lachin Corridor.
“According to reports, the humanitarian situation in the region is deteriorating, and unfortunately, the population in Nagorno-Karabakh may be left without essential supplies. All of this contradicts the conditions outlined in the November 9 statement. We urge Baku and Yerevan to resolve all issues through diplomatic and political means. Azerbaijan is called upon to unblock the Lachin Corridor. The work of the Russian peacekeepers will be based on the trilateral statement and the situation on the ground,” stated the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson.
