Georgian Ambassador to Leave Ukraine Tomorrow
The Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine, Giorgi Zacharashvili, has announced that he will leave Ukraine on July 6. This was reported by TASS.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to contact the Georgian ambassador and order him to leave the country within 48 hours.
The reason for this directive was the ambassador's failure to attend the trial of former Georgian President and Ukrainian citizen Mikheil Saakashvili. Zelensky defended the former Georgian leader and urged his Ukrainian counterparts to do the same.
