Passport Departments to Operate on Saturdays
In light of the recent surge in citizens visiting and the increase in queue volumes, it has been decided that as of July 8, the territorial passport units of the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Internal Affairs will also operate on Saturdays. This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Citizens will be served according to the regular working hours. For any issues that arise during service, we kindly ask you to contact the Migration Service Hotline at 010 370264 or call 1-02,” the announcement stated.
An electronic appointment system is already in place at the Kanaker-Zeytun, Arabkir, and Mashtots passport units, and from July 10, electronic appointments will also be available in the Central, Nor Nork, Malatia-Sebastia, and Shengavit passport services.
Appointments can be made via the website migration.e-gov.am. Gradually, the electronic appointment system will also be implemented in other passport services in Yerevan and subsequently in the regions, depending on demand.
