At least 1427 children were displaced due to Azerbaijani aggression in September 2022, with their fundamental rights being violated. This was reported by Ani Badalyan, spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry, on her Twitter page.
Speaking on children's rights, she stated, "During the aggression by Azerbaijan in September 2022, educational institutions in the affected areas were directly shelled, resulting in children being deprived of their right to education. At least 1427 children were displaced, and their basic rights were violated." She shared a report from the United Nations on children affected by conflicts in 2022.
