Peskov Says He Does Not Know the Current Whereabouts of Prigozhin

The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, stated that he does not know the current whereabouts of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner private military company. This was reported by TASS.

“I do not have such information,” he said during a conversation with reporters.

Peskov also did not respond to the question of whether to expect resignations from power figures and military personnel associated with Prigozhin. “This question is absolutely beyond my jurisdiction,” he stated.

It is worth recalling that after the attempted armed rebellion in Russia, Prigozhin had traveled to Minsk. Subsequently, some Telegram channels reported that he had returned to Russia.
