Instead of Grand Announcements, Let Him Come and Present the Information: Kocharyan on Hakobyan
Instead of making grand announcements, Moses Hakobyan should come to the investigative commission and present all the information he possesses. This was stated by the chairman of the investigative commission, Andranik Kocharyan, during a press briefing after a meeting examining the circumstances of the 44-day war.
Kocharyan inquired whether Moses Hakobyan had responded regarding his participation in future sessions of the investigative commission. He added that they have publicly invited Moses Hakobyan to participate in the commission several times, yet he has not responded.
“He has carefully followed and responded to the parts that the Prime Minister has made public, but does he not have things to say regarding this and other episodes? The investigative commission would very much like him to speak on those matters,” he emphasized.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also announced during the session of the commission examining the circumstances of the 44-day war that the recommendation to evacuate the 7th defensive zone of Artsakh and withdraw the troops was made by Moses Hakobyan.
The Prime Minister also pointed out that the reasons for such a recommendation have not yet been clarified. Once again, Hakobyan was invited to participate in the commission's session.
Recall that in a conversation with Tert.am, the former head of the Military Supervision Service of the Ministry of Defense, Moses Hakobyan, stated that he had responded to Pashinyan's announcements by declaring that he does not comment on statements made by a kindergarten child. As for participating in the meeting of the investigative commission, Hakobyan said he would not participate in that “circus.”
