During the 44-Day War, Many Casualties Occurred Not in Battle, but While Moving: Pashinyan
The Armenian side suffered many casualties not on the battlefield, but during movement throughout the 44-day war. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a session of the commission investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war in the National Assembly today.
According to Pashinyan, the 2020 war proved that the mobility of the Armenian army was one of its greatest challenges. "During the war, in my opinion, the biggest problem was that our army had issues with its methods of movement – large vehicles, large groups, and high visibility..." he said.
Pashinyan rejects claims that the army should move in such a manner.
