We Need to Install Screens at Bus Stops So People Know Where the Buses Are: Avinyan
“We need to install screens at bus stops so that people know where the bus is and how many minutes it will arrive,” said Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a procedural meeting of the Yerevan City Hall today, June 26.
“We need to start thinking about having appropriate screens at the stops so that people can know where the bus is and how many minutes it will take to arrive at the stop,” said Avinyan.
It is worth reminding that Deputy Mayor Avinyan had previously written on his Facebook page that information about public transport in Yerevan is available on Yandex's electronic map. He mentioned that we can now use Yandex maps to see the routes and stops of public transport in Yerevan, plan our journeys by indicating the starting point and destination, or by selecting them on the map, see the planned route, and understand how to reach the nearest stop, which transport number to take, and how long the journey will take.
