A Peace Agreement Between Armenia and Azerbaijan May Be Signed by Year-End, Bayramov
There has been some progress in the negotiations to establish peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Baku is looking to finalize an agreement. This was stated by the country’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov in an interview with Reuters.
According to him, Bayramov mentioned that a peace agreement is attainable if Armenia is willing to take certain steps. “If there is a willingness not just for statements but also for practical steps, I believe it is possible to reach an agreement even before the end of the year. But if there is no real willingness... then it may happen later,” said the Azerbaijani foreign minister.
