Certain Calm on the Front Line: Putin Points to Reasons
Currently, there is a "certain calm" on the front line as Ukrainian forces have suffered significant losses in personnel and equipment, said Vladimir Putin during a broadcast on "Russia 24."
“There are certain elements of military operations, of course—shelling, reconnaissance. However, active offensive operations are not being conducted,” the President of Russia noted.
According to him, the Ukrainian armed forces appear to be engaged in restoring combat readiness by regrouping new units from brigades that have sustained serious losses, attempting to breach Russian defenses.
