15-Year-Old Teen Crashes Car into Tree in Jermuk: One Dead and Two Injured

On June 21, at 17:57, the crisis management center of the Vayots Dzor regional rescue department received a signal that a traffic accident had occurred, resulting in injuries. A firefighting and rescue squad from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

It was revealed that an Opel vehicle (driver A.P., born in 2008) had veered off the roadway and crashed into a nearby tree. There is one fatality and two injured individuals.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, one of the injured, A.S. (born in 2008), was extricated from the vehicle and hospitalized at Vayk Medical Center. Rescuers retrieved the body of another citizen from the car and brought it to a vehicle for transportation, while the driver was carried on a stretcher to an ambulance, which also took him to Vayk Medical Center.
