Musk Defends Sachs' Article on Ukrainian Armed Forces' Failed Offensive
Businessman Elon Musk commented on economist David Sachs' article titled "The Failed Counteroffensive and the World That Could Have Been" on Twitter. According to the author, Kyiv is not achieving any of the originally stated objectives and cannot "block the land bridge to Crimea," while Moscow can establish control over large areas and win.
"Well said," Musk wrote under Sachs' post.
In his article, the American economist disagreed with the proposal to grant Ukraine an 'Israeli status' that suggests security guarantees, weapons deliveries, and financial allocations.
Sachs clarified, "This is not what the American people signed up for." According to the author, a peaceful resolution was possible at the beginning of the conflict. He recalled the draft agreement between Russia and Ukraine that Vladimir Putin presented to delegations from African countries.
