A Participant of the 44-Day War in Azerbaijan Attempts Self-Immolation
The Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan is investigating the suicide attempt of a war participant in the city of Naftalan. This was reported by the press service of the agency.
On June 20, Ilkin Tagiyev (born in 1993), a participant of the 44-day war, doused himself in flammable material and set himself on fire in front of the executive power building of the Naftalan region. The Prosecutor General's Office revealed that "Tagiyev attempted to self-immolate in front of the building, and he has been sent to Baku for treatment."
