New Trolleybuses to Hit the Routes in the First Decade of July

New trolleybuses will hit the routes in the first decade of July. This was announced today by Vazgen Harutyunyan, the acting head of the transportation department of Yerevan Municipality, during a working session of the city hall.

"Only the approval from the council remains; the trolleybuses will go out on the route 7-10 days after the upcoming council meeting," he said.

It is worth mentioning that the next meeting of the Yerevan Council will take place on June 27, 2023.

Regarding the purchase of a new batch of trolleybuses, the next competition has already been announced. "We have conducted the evaluation, and we have a winning participant. The contract will be signed in the coming days," he added.
