The Messages Targeting Armenia and India: Analysis by Azerbaijani Expert

What statements were made during the visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to Baku? Azerbaijani expert Tatyana Hairapetyan elaborated on this on Facebook.

- Aliyev expressed gratitude to Pakistan for the assistance provided during the war. He also expressed satisfaction that Pakistan has not established diplomatic relations with Armenia to this day.

- Aliyev voiced his support for Pakistan regarding the Kashmir issue.

- “We have agreed to increase the number of joint military exercises conducted previously. There is a need for this, as the situation in the world is changing, zones of instability are increasing, therefore a powerful military potential is a guarantee of independence and territorial integrity,” stated Aliyev.

In turn, the Prime Minister of Pakistan noted:

- The parties will deepen military and economic cooperation.

- Pakistan can only consider establishing diplomatic relations with Armenia after signing the “Peace Treaty.”

- “I believe that Azerbaijan can naturally play an important role in Pakistan's relations. Of course, we have Afghanistan and Iran as neighbors. I think China is also an important factor. In this context, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey can work together as brotherly countries. Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia are also brotherly countries. Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and the United Arab Emirates are brotherly countries. Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Qatar are brotherly countries. In other words, see what can be done with these connections...” stated the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Hairapetyan concluded, “The messages clearly target Armenia and India. After all this, the leadership of Baku still allows itself to complain to India about why they are selling weapons to Armenia...”.
