We Have Spare No Expense for the Army: Pashinyan

We have spare no expense for the army, and we have trusted our army. This was stated today, June 15, by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his summary speech on the discussion of the 2022 budget performance in the National Assembly.

“Moreover, we have been aware of the political connections, turning a blind eye to certain issues to extend our trust. Since 2018, there hasn't been a single case where something has happened in our army due to the government saying they have no money. It is excluded, such a thing cannot happen. Perhaps that has been our greatest mistake, trusting the army. I have recounted a case where, during the war, relatives of mine came and tried to say that some high-ranking commander was not doing something; I removed that person and said I won't allow you to speak such about my country's officer,” said Pashinyan.
