Defense Army Denies Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's Statement

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's statement alleging that Defense Army units opened fire on Azerbaijani positions in the occupied territories of Martuni region of the Artsakh Republic on June 15 at around 08:45 is yet another piece of disinformation. This was reported by the Artsakh Republic Ministry of Defense's press service.

In an attempt to justify the fire of its units towards civilians engaged in agricultural work, Azerbaijan is again distorting the reality, repeatedly stating that engineering works in the Martuni region are being disrupted.

As previously reported, on June 14, between 09:15 and 11:14, the Azerbaijani side fired from small arms towards civilians engaged in agricultural work in the villages of Machkalashen and Chartar in the Martuni region.
