"There Will Be No Roads Operating Outside of Armenia's Jurisdiction": Yegoyan
Arman Yegoyan, a deputy of the My Step Alliance in the National Assembly, spoke to reporters about the issue of unblocking roads.
"There will be no roads operating outside of Armenia's jurisdiction in the territory of our country," he said.
Addressing the topic of these roads under Russian control, he stated, "At the Meghri customs checkpoint and at Zvartnots airport, you can meet representatives of the Russian relevant authorities, but they operate under Armenian jurisdiction. There can be an Armenian border guard. The key point here is that the road must be under our jurisdiction."
Yegoyan added that the presence of Russian border guards is to ensure the safety of goods and people passing through that road.
