Jordanian Armed Forces Shoot Down Drug-Smuggling Drone Near Syrian Border
The Jordanian Armed Forces shot down a drone transporting drugs near the border with Syria today. This was reported by the Jordanian Petra agency, citing military sources.
According to the agency, the drone was carrying 500 grams of methamphetamine. The drugs have been handed over to the relevant authorities. Military officials claim the drone was flying towards Jordan from neighboring Syrian territory and was shot down after crossing the border.
The Syrian side has yet to comment on this information.
