US Prosecutors Notify Trump About Criminal Investigation
The US prosecutors have notified former President Donald Trump about a criminal investigation against him. This was reported by Politico.
"Federal prosecutors have formally informed former President Donald Trump that he is under criminal investigation," the article states.
Earlier, Trump made statements on social media claiming that no one had informed him about any charges. The political figure insisted that he has done "nothing wrong."
It became known last August 13 that secret documents had been found at the former president’s home after FBI agents conducted a search there. It remains unclear whether he actually concealed documents containing state secrets or if these pertain to old files.
