Destruction of Hydroelectric Dam Confirms Russians Must Be Expelled from Ukraine: Zelensky

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has stated that the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam by Russian forces only reinforces the notion that they must be expelled from all corners of Ukraine. He made this announcement on his Facebook page.

“Russian terrorists, by destroying the dam, are confirming to the entire world that they must be expelled from every corner of Ukrainian land. Not a single meter should be left for them, as every meter is used for terror. Only Ukraine's victory will restore security. And that victory will come. Neither water, nor missiles, nor anything else will stop Ukraine from achieving its goals,” wrote the President of Ukraine.

He also urged the public to disseminate only official and verified information.

It is noteworthy that today, June 6, the dam of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant located in the Kherson region collapsed.
