VIDEO: Footage from the Nighttime Car Accident

On June 4 at 23:40, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that an accident occurred on the road from Myasnikyan Avenue to Gay Avenue, near the 'Avan Plaza' hotel. The vehicle overturned, and smoke was observed.

Two crews from the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Yerevan were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that an 'Opel' vehicle (driver: A.D., born in 1968) crashed into the curb and overturned, causing a gas leak. Passengers L.K. (born in 1977) and S.Y. were hospitalized at the 'Saint Gregory the Illuminator' Medical Center.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery, closed the gas bottle valve, secured the area, righted the vehicle, and performed cleaning operations on the road.
