Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Advises Citizens Not to Visit Iran
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has advised its citizens not to visit Iran. “Considering the terrorist attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran this January, which limited our diplomatic representation in that country, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan are strongly advised against unnecessary travel to Iran. Those entering the country are urged to remain vigilant,” the statement reads.
In the Islamic Republic, Azerbaijani citizens are recommended to contact the Azerbaijani Consulate General in Tabriz for consular and other requests.
