The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Alexey Overchuk, stated today that during the meeting of the trilateral working group of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan, technical details regarding the modalities of crossing the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be discussed. This information was reported by Interfax.
According to Overchuk, the parties are very close to discussing the restoration of railway communication between eastern Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan.
“Armenia will also have the opportunity to travel through Nakhchivan, Syunik, and Azerbaijan to Russia, and to other EU countries, and it is also possible to exit to Iran,” Overchuk said.
