«Armenia Has Not Yet Learned from Its Past Mistakes» - Spokesperson of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry
«Armenia has not yet learned from its past mistakes. Instead of apologizing for provocative actions, it spreads false information,» wrote Ayhan Hajizade, spokesperson for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry, on social media in response to the Armenian Foreign Ministry's condemnation regarding the abduction of two Armenian soldiers.
«Yerevan must stop the provocations, return the two Azerbaijani soldiers captured by the Armenian army, and provide information about the 3,890 missing persons,» he added.
It is noteworthy that on May 26, starting from 19:00, contact was lost with two servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces who were supplying food to the combat positions. The Azerbaijani Prosecutor's Office announced that the two Armenian servicemen, Harutyun Hovakimyan and Karen Ghazaryan, had been detained. They have been presented with false charges of terrorism, illegal crossing, and illegal transportation of weapons.
