“I will talk about something I have never spoken about. During the current session of this parliament, one of the ruling party members asked me not to speak about the enclaves in international platforms, assuring me that this issue has been resolved and that it is unnecessary to raise it again. Now we understand that resolving the enclave issue was perceived by them quite differently,” said opposition figure Hayk Mamijanyan at a press conference held earlier today.

“I also want to speak about the right to self-determination. Let no one attempt to use the complex geopolitical situation as an excuse for not implementing the right to self-determination. Even after the war, the President of Russia, the EU’s High Representative, the US Ambassador in Armenia, and the Chancellor of Germany, they all spoke about the right to self-determination. The current rulers, in fact, have failed to uphold what was ratified by parliaments in all EU member states thanks to us. Can you imagine what level we are talking about? This was ratified at almost a legislative level,” he added.
