US Administration Believes One of Ukraine’s Special Services Behind Kremlin Drone Attack: NYT
The US administration believes that a drone attack on the Kremlin in early May was organized by one of Ukraine’s special services, according to The New York Times.
According to the report, American intelligence agencies do not have information on which specific Ukrainian special service was involved in the attack and whether President Volodymyr Zelensky was aware of the preparations.
Initially, President Joe Biden’s administration considered the theory that the drone attack was a ‘false flag operation’ by the Russian government; however, after intercepting internal discussions among Russian officials, the US administration changed its stance.
