NATO Expects Georgia to Implement Sanctions Against Russia, Says Stoltenberg

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) expects that countries not members of the alliance will adhere to the sanctions that complicate Russia's financing and organization of its aggressive war against Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated during a discussion at the annual forum in Brussels.

He noted that countries like Georgia are "trying to resist Russian aggression." He added, "That is why at the NATO Madrid summit, it was decided to increase the support for these countries, with Georgia being the most significant example."
