The Need to Recognize the Full Danger of Manipulating Words: Zakharova
Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, commented on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement regarding the possibility of leaving the CSTO, calling for an awareness of the full dangers of manipulating words.
In a press briefing, Zakharova responded to a question about Pashinyan's statement that "if Armenia de jure decides to leave the CSTO, this will occur as a result of the CSTO's fixation on leaving Armenia."
"If this expression is intended to lobby a stance on Armenia’s exit from the CSTO, it seems to me that we should nevertheless recognize the full danger of manipulating words. How can the CSTO leave Armenia? It is not entirely clear what this is about..." said Zakharova.
