Explosion Near Checkpoint in Belgorod Region While Journalists Were Present

An explosion occurred near a checkpoint in the city of Grayvoron in the Belgorod region of Russia when journalists were present on Wednesday. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to a correspondent from RIA Novosti at the incident site, several media crews arrived around 15:20 Moscow time to cover the situation following recent shelling near the Grayvoron checkpoint. The journalists exited their vehicles to film the buildings damaged by the shelling. However, just a few minutes later, they heard shouting and the sound of an explosion. The journalists quickly got back into their vehicles and left the area. There were no reported injuries among them.
