Over 110,000 Deaths from Drug Overdoses Recorded in the US in 2022
In 2022, the number of deaths from drug overdoses in the United States increased. This was reported by golosameriki.com, which noted at the same time that this increase is not significant for the first time since 2018.
Representatives of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicated that throughout most of the previous year, the rates did not significantly rise or fall.
It was noted that last year, approximately 110,000 people died from overdoses in the US. This represents an increase of nearly 2 percent compared to 2021.
Eight states that previously had high overdose death rates have seen significant declines. However, experts have warned that the number of such deaths may rise again.
