Downed Patriot in Ukraine Repaired and Returned to Service: Pentagon

The downed American Patriot air defense system in Ukraine has been repaired and returned to service. This was announced by Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh, as reported by РИА Новости.

“One Patriot system was damaged and has now been repaired and fully returned to service,” Singh stated. She added that the United States has provided “specific assistance” to Kyiv regarding the repairs of the system.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on May 16, a precision strike from the “Kinzhal” hypersonic missile system had hit the American-made Patriot air defense system in Kyiv.

Subsequently, Washington had promised to repair it.
