The West has a manic desire to appropriate Russia's achievements, says Zakharova
In the Armenian-Azerbaijani process, Moscow does not yet see positive results from Western mediation; there is only a manic desire to appropriate Russia's achievements. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to her, Russia highly values every constructive effort directed at the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
“Let it not be assumed that we do not appreciate the steps that will be taken. Whenever there is an opportunity to make the right move in Armenian-Azerbaijani relations that alleviates tension, it will be appreciated. However, until now, there is nothing to value besides the jealousy and manic desire to interrupt the agenda and appropriate Russia's achievements,” Zakharova said.
Zakharova emphasized that this is the reason why the West does not want to mention Moscow's accomplishments.
