“The Government Wants to Cut You Off from the West”: Bryza to the People of Georgia
“The Government wants to cut you off from the West, the final word belongs to the people of Georgia,” said former U.S. State Department official Matthew Bryza on the Georgian Formula television channel.
He noted that Russia is an aggressor not only against Ukraine but also against Georgia, evidenced by the occupied territories.
“Putin imposed sanctions against Georgia to increase pressure, but he was defeated, and now he is trying to create a rift in the country. He is doing everything possible to ensure instability in Georgia,” the former U.S. official stated.
