Three People Die at Turkish Polling Stations
Three people have died at polling stations in Turkey due to heart attacks. This was reported by TRT Haber on May 14.
A staff member of the electoral commission in Rize province suffered a heart attack. "Seref Kurt, a polling station staff member, had a heart attack. Medical teams that arrived at the scene provided first aid and transported him to the hospital, but he could not be saved," the report stated.
In the Derecik district of Trabzon, a 75-year-old voter, Aysel Ulusu, lost consciousness upon entering the voting booth. Her death was recorded as a result of a heart attack.
The third incident occurred in the Giresun province, near Trabzon, where an 85-year-old voter fainted near the ballot box. Despite medical assistance, his life could not be saved.
