Details of Discussion Between Charles Michel and Aliyev Revealed
The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, discussed issues concerning the drafting of a peace agreement between Yerevan and Baku during their meeting in Brussels.
According to Azerbaijani media reports, Aliyev and Michel addressed regional matters. They also exchanged views on agenda items for the upcoming trilateral meeting.
It is worth noting that an earlier meeting took place between Prime Minister Pashinyan and Michel, where they discussed concerns related to the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh due to Azerbaijan’s illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor, as well as issues pertaining to the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
