Medvedev: 'Russia's Enemies Are Leading the World Toward a Third World War'
Russia's adversaries are leading the world toward a Third World War, a global catastrophe, said Dmitry Medvedev, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, during a forum held in St. Petersburg.
According to him, the war unleashed against Russia is of a hybrid and large-scale nature. American and European patrons are intensively pushing the country's enemies with lethal weapons and encouraging terrorism in areas bordering Russia, emphasized the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council.
"Russia is conducting a special operation to protect its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of millions of citizens," Medvedev stated as reported by TASS. He noted that the adversaries of the Russian Federation are "in reality leading toward a Third World War, toward a global catastrophe, in which, as you know, by definition, there can be no winners."
