U.S. Continues to Extend Its Jurisdiction Over Other Countries: Medvedev
The United States will continue its attempts to extend its jurisdiction over other countries, which cannot be tolerated, and the entire civilized international community must fight against this. This statement was made by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council and former President of Russia, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“It is evident that certain states, such as the United States and some of its most fervent supporters, will continue these attempts, disregarding the principles of international law, to extend their national jurisdiction over foreign states, as well as over foreign individuals and legal entities. Let’s be clear, this can no longer be tolerated. And the entire civilized international community must fight against it, no matter how difficult it may be,” said Medvedev during his speech at the plenary session of the XI International Legal Forum in St. Petersburg.
